The Melbourne Rebels are the newest team in Australian Super Rugby — a club that's been fighting for a foothold in the AFL heartland since 2011, representing the families of Melbourne, the workers of the city, and the loyal fans who've embraced rugby in a town that's mad for the oval ball, all united in the blue, white and red. Known as the "Rebels" to the faithful and the "Rebs" to those who know the club's nickname, we're a club that's still writing its story — with a fanbase that's growing year on year at AAMI Park and a vision for success that's as ambitious as the city we represent, even if we've copped a bit of "AFL town" stick from the Sydney and Queensland traditionalists.
